If you look back in history it's a common double standard of society. The guy gets all the glory, the more he can score
while the girl can do the same and yet you call her a whore
I don't understand why its OK, the guy can get away with it while any girl gets named.

Even though this song was made years ago, when I believe I was a Sophmore in high school, I can still relate to it's words today. Traditionally, men and women have been subjected to different "rules" regarding sexual behavior. Women have been objectified as "whores" for engaging in sexual activity outside of marriage, where in men, their activity and behavior is expected and rewarded. Many women, are faced with the "Kat Stacks" persona based on their sexual activity as promiscuous or easy. In our community (the UC community), athletes and Fraternity brothers for example tend to be the groups that get and share multiple women. They talk about the women they have been with in negative ways, saying how the women are whores, sluts, etc... I don't understand how women are portrayed in negative ways by men when they are in fact doing the same thing.
People are always so quick to jump to the double standards of men and women, but we never think about the double standards between women. [scenario] Say a man had a girlfriend and he was to cheat. His girlfriend is the first to get mad at the other women, but give her boyfriend rewards such as staying with him and even giving him sex.
